QTS Blog: QTS Maths Tutor Update!!!

We are pleased to say that QTS Maths Tutor has just delivered another fantastic update to our practice numeracy skills tests and website in general. Over the last 3 months we have been compiling user feedback which has been used to make effective changes to our 21 numeracy skills tests as well as a number of other changes to our service. The following details the changes made to our tests and service:

1. Practice Mode: This was added a while back after feedback from prospective teachers who wanted to practice the numeracy skills questions with the ability to skip questions and pause the timer.
2. Revision Tests: We were told that people wanted more revision material so that they could focus on their weaker areas so we added 8 topic revision tests so that you can get to grips with your weaker qts maths question types.
3. Answers: There were requests for instant access to answers, so we added this feature in to all of our numeracy skills tests.
4. Written Questions: Users said it would be useful to have the written version of the audio file so again when practicing on a hard question, you can read it and work through the question that way enhancing understanding.
5. 25% Extra Time: We appreciate that some people get additional time in their numeracy skills tests, so QTS Maths Tutor has added this in as an option and like many of our features we are the only numeracy skills test providers to do this!
6. Model Solutions: Again we had a request to provide model solutions for the free numeracy skills practice test, so we did this and went the extra mile. We have developed model solutions for the government tests which can be accessed via YouTube or our own site.
7. More Practice: People were frustrated with other numeracy test providers such as Numeracy Ready, where if you attempt the next test you can’t retake the previous test, so we made sure with our numeracy skills tests you can take them in any order as many times as you like.
8. TrustPilot: We are the only numeracy skills test and tuition provider to display independent reviews using a third party
