What is the numeracy skills pass rate?

Many people who are about to prepare for the numeracy skills test often ask what the pass rate is for the test. This is a difficult question to answer as the gross pass mark changes with every set of tests that are sat. The reason for this is that the tests are standardised which means the pass mark varies with the level of difficulty of the test. Therefore if the test is more difficult the pass mark goes up and vice versa. Generally a good measure is a score of 20 or above as this will almost guarantee you a pass. You may be able to pass with a lower mark but it will all depend on the difficulty of the questions on the day. To help you reach the pass mark for the numeracy skills test we would recommend that you practise the government tests as well as our excellent selection of numeracy skills tests which strictly follow the government guidelines.
