The Functional Skills English Level 2 exam is a nationally recognised qualification, equivalent to a GCSE pass. It is accepted by employers, apprenticeship providers, and most universities.
The assessment includes three components: Reading, Writing, and Speaking, Listening & Communicating. All parts are Ofqual regulated and can be taken from home using a laptop or computer, with an invigilator overseeing the process via webcam.
On the day of your functional skills exam, you’ll receive an email with instructions and a link to join your session. The invigilator will guide you through setup and answer any questions before the exam begins.
